Our CoinMarketCap community account, @Blockdagexposed, was banned in May 2026. We had been posting documented, sourced information about BlockDAG Network for weeks. None of our posts contained false claims. Every fact we posted is independently verifiable. We believe the ban was not the result of a rule violation — it was the result of pressure.
What we posted
Every post we published on CoinMarketCap referenced verifiable sources. We cited the DL News investigation published April 23, 2026. We cited ZachXBT's on-chain analysis. We referenced the three confirmed sponsorship defaults by Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan and Alpine F1 — all documented by the clubs themselves. We cited statements from BlockDAG's own official Telegram channel, timestamped and attributed.
We linked to blockdagexposed.com, where every claim is sourced inline. We did not fabricate quotes. We did not invent numbers. The $442M discrepancy, the broken staking contract (now 83 days), the six sales mechanisms after "no sale after May 7th", the undelivered miners — all of it is documented in 342,222 analyzed Telegram messages and multiple external investigations.
BlockDAG's documented pattern with critics
This is not the first time a critic of BlockDAG has faced removal or silencing. The pattern is documented:
Documented suppression of critics
- ZachXBT was blocked on X by the official BlockDAG account after he published his on-chain analysis finding less than $100M raised against the claimed $442M.
- The name "Gurhan Kiziloz" — the true founder of BlockDAG — was actively deleted from the official Telegram group for over two years. Users who typed the name had their messages removed.
- Community members who asked direct questions about fundraising, missed deadlines, or exchange listing failures were muted or banned from the official Telegram group.
- On May 12, 2026, a community member asked the admin directly: "You claimed that the DL News report was false — did you sue them? Do we have any official documents?" The admin did not respond.
The DL News question is particularly relevant. If BlockDAG believed the DL News investigation was false and defamatory, the appropriate response would be legal action and a factual rebuttal. Instead, the admin went silent. Platforms like CMC do not remove their DL News warning banners through community pressure — only through legal process or documented factual correction. Neither has been provided.
How CMC bans work — and who benefits
CoinMarketCap's community system allows users to report posts. Enough reports from enough accounts can trigger an automatic ban, regardless of whether the reported content is accurate. A coordinated community — such as a 300,000-member Telegram group whose admins repeatedly direct members against critics — can generate sufficient reports to remove any account.
We cannot prove that BlockDAG or its community coordinated mass reporting against our account. What we can document is that our posts were factual, that BlockDAG has a demonstrated pattern of silencing critics, and that the ban came immediately after our most active period of posting documented evidence on the platform.
CMC itself has not removed the DL News investigation banner from BlockDAG's page. They clearly consider the underlying concerns serious enough to maintain. Banning the account that references that same investigation, while keeping the investigation banner, is an inconsistency we intend to raise in our appeal.
What this changes
Nothing. The website stays up. The tracker stays up. The 342,222 analyzed messages stay analyzed. The 65 tracked promises, 60 of them broken, remain documented. The evidence does not disappear when a community account gets removed.
We have submitted a formal appeal to CoinMarketCap support. We have asked for a review of the ban and explained that our content was factual and independently verifiable. We expect a response within 5 business days.
If the appeal is denied without a specific factual objection to our posts, that denial will itself become part of the documented record of how critics of BlockDAG are treated.
A note on today's data
As of May 12, 2026: BDAG trades at $0.0001161, which is 99.8% below the promised $0.05 launch price. The Utility Presale, launched the day after "No sale after May 7th," has already dropped its own price from $0.0000005 to $0.00000039 — changing the ROI claim from "160X" to "320X" as the presale price fell. May 14 is the next promised deadline: full casino launch and Batch 4 plus Batch 5 claims. We will track what is delivered.
